As an illustrator for the past 40 years I can say that poly/cotton canvas is crap. I guess it’s okay for reproducing art for dentist waiting rooms, but not for serious work.
Linen canvas is the only canvas worth using.
The paper samples might be worth looking into though…..we’ll see.
goood lord chris…as an “illustrator” you must just “move on” cuz we would like to see for “ourselfs” mmmmkay…we are on the “freecrap” so i think we can see for “ourselves” (did i spell that wrong) ?
Hey JoeBlow, I don’t deny anyone the right to try all this stuff for themselves. I’m just expressing an opinion as you have all too often (usually about other posters). No need to put Illustrator in quotes either, it’s what I do and what I am.
Oh, Nothing Wrong With Paintings On Black Velvet! That genre is pure American Total Crap! Elvis and big eyed kids are bad, bullfights and kittens are good.
As a procurer of free crap for longer than I care to remember, I can say that free crap is still free crap, no matter what the quality may be. I loves me some free crap. I can’t wait for that free car poster, so I can spend 200 clams to frame it and hang it up in the waiting room of my plastic surgeon’s office.
