I think tony chachere’s will be ok. Mr. Julie picked some Slap ya Mama at a truck stop once and I get it online now, so if you want to you can google it and buy some. It’s the best cajun seasoning I’ve personally used. And thanks for the roses Chip!! I got a lull and was able to come home for a few but I’ll be gone in a little bit.

I believe it is correct to say there is no literal translation, in english, for om shanti. I was told, by the Swami that intoduced me to the ‘om’ concept, it means ‘peace for your heart’.Since then - Christmas 1985 - that is how I use the phrase and how I mean it here.

From what I learned in the Middle East om has no meaning….it is considered to be the primal sound from which all sounds are formed. And Shanti means peace to most but to some in Iraq and Saudi Arabia it means the spirit in me greets the spirit in you……and its used in Yoga also. Good enough One? lol

I think tony chachere’s will be ok. Mr. Julie picked some Slap ya Mama at a truck stop once and I get it online now, so if you want to you can google it and buy some. It’s the best cajun seasoning I’ve personally used. And thanks for the roses Chip!! I got a lull and was able to come home for a few but I’ll be gone in a little bit.

I believe it is correct to say there is no literal translation, in english, for om shanti. I was told, by the Swami that intoduced me to the ‘om’ concept, it means ‘peace for your heart’.Since then - Christmas 1985 - that is how I use the phrase and how I mean it here.
