good morning all!! We have company for the next few days, so I won’t be on the computer. Have a fantastic week and I’ll ttyl!!! Hope your halloween was awesome, and real quick…..Alison is turning 3 tomorrow. I’m torn between chocolate cake or carrot cake. Homemade of course. Hey Julie…if there are going to be moms and dads there…I would make a big chocolate cake and carrot cake cupcakes. Variety is the spice of life.

Hm, well I’ll have my fingers crossed on this one. I haven’t tried to use one of these before, but it sure would come in handy when bouncing around computers as much as I do :P
And Julie- as a fellow mom-of-short-creatures, my general plan is when in doubt, make half and half. There’s two ways to do that. Either make one round carrot cake and one round chocolate, then cut each round in half, stacking the carrot cake on the carrot cake and the chocolate cake on the chocolate, and frost and fill the whole thing with probably cream cheese frosting would go well with both I would think, or make a cupcake-cake. Make cupcakes of each kind, frost, and then shove ‘em together in a circle on a big plate and write the happy birthday message on them just as if it was one big cake. :)
But maybe that’s just because me and my whole family are completely indecisive :P

Julie – I believe nothig says Happy Birthday and I Love You better than chocolate cake.
I would then use the carrot cake ingredients to make breakfast bread for the company. With a little adjustment, you can even make carrot cake into pancakes, doughnuts or fritters with a cream cheese glaze. Good luck and Happy Birthday to your little one.
Back to the Rain here in WA. We had a lovely break but now it has returned. Keep your fingers crossed for snow. It would be lovely to have a “White Thanksgiving”.

What a great idea butterfly, have you tried mixing the cakes? Chocolate on carrot? Carrot on chocolate? Then, in the same mouthful, you get the best of both,mmmmm? Please give your child birthday wishes from pooperville?
I tried for one of these some time ago. No reply at all…nothing. Cst la vie. I figure one out of three attempts gets me something… and so far that has been about accurate.

neat deal, I have one that looks to be the same brand, it’s a Cruzer by Micro, mine is 4 gig but they made them all the way from 128 meg up to 8 gig. I see the 256 meg are on sale at one oufit 5 for 25 bucks so they are not all that expensive right now, the one I have I paid like 29 bucks for on sale at Office Max and it has served me very well in fact I use it instead of the one I picked up to replace it, an 8 giger that is real fast. The 4 gig is big enough, and Vista recognizes it as a speed-up drive if you want something of that sort, so if this one gigger is the same speed then it could be very usefull for those poor souls who have been tricked by the computer GODS into running Windows ME II AKA Vista.
I had it on my machien for a week and by that time I had lost much of the hair on the top of my head, simply because I was pulling it out by the roots trying to keep my lovely home built machine running. At long last I stuck XP back on it, and we are both much happier now.
Guess I am a bit windy for this place, but I am an amature writer and some times I get a bit carried away, especially after I had my first short story published in a book a year ago. It was like an hour long orgasm but ever since then I simply haven’t had a bit of luck publishing wise, and that short story paid a whole free copy of the book!!
Ah well better then a poke in the eye with a sharp stick I guess, hope this deal comes across, I know my nephew got one a year or two ago on a deal like this, it had a catalog on it, that he simiply deleted and used it for regular file transfers. Our house has many of this type deal, I have six or seven in a case with different things on them that I want for quick access, the wife and daughter both have two that they use for transfering photos and games between their computers. They are indeed handy and there are even forms of Linux out there that will boot off one, and allow you to have a clean linux system to use for the internet, safe from the crap that visits Windows systems. I carry one of these with Puppy linux on it to use when traveling where I use public computers, such as motels libraries and such. I also take it along to the State Surplus store when I visit so I can boot up the computers they have for sale that have zeroed hard drives on them, it lets me access much of the system to check without having to crack the case and look.

To get the free stuff you just click on the pic and it will take you to the form to fill out and it’ll take a little while but usually comes in the mail before you know it! :)
