One, I read your “rant” as it’s being called. I have been preaching for 5 years that this two party system is flawed and we need a third or fourth party to even the playing field. Government has limited funding to any third party candidate in the past two decades (if not more) of elections. The last third party candidate to win a presidential election was Lincoln. The Federalists became the Republicans, but who’s counting. For those making Zoloft jokes, talk to me in 3 years when you cannot get the medications or the counseling you need because the government-run (socialized) medicine machine feels you can modify your diet instead. Or Granny…or YOU can’t get cataract surgery because at your age, what do you need to see anyway? Long-term Kidney dialysis is more expensive to the government than letting you die. Currently, there are medicines in use over-seas that cure AIDS and cure other diseases that are not available here….why? Soon, only Kennedys and Clintons and Kerrys or the currently rich who are the only families who have the money that can get the notice, who are running the country can get the transplants and the benefits or stem cell research. Let Wall Street fail…take back our country from those REALLY running it. Why do you think there IS a “stimulus package” at all?

When your hometown pump says gas is $5/gal but $3.75 is taxes (state/local/Fed) to fund things you will never benefit from; come talk to me. The last administration messed things up so badly that everyone was ready for something different. This president offered kind words of hope and unity; a step back from “Because I told You So” yet, he used the media to push through a trillion dollars of your money. How much “say” did YOU have in this new unity? You can use the word Unity, or Socialism, or Communalism or even Communism (in its purest form, not USSR) – but 1984/Big Brother is here, just a little late. Here in Massachusetts, our government has a bill in the senate to allow the DVM to put a computer chip in out Plates that will judge how many miles we drive, so they can adjust taxes to those who use the roads the most….except government vehicles and government family vehicles.

I do and teach medical coding and billing in Boston and you all have NO IDEA how many folks come here from Canada, or Sweden, Or Saudi Arabia, because the social medicine will no longer treat them there. And yes they do pay our doctors. Better than WE pay our doctors.

Stimulus package is a verrrrrrry expensive joke -’cept I’m not really laughing. Hubby out of work almost a year and our extremely small business (without a storefront-can’t afford one) is tanking deeply minute by minute. No reprieve for us though & I’m not eligible as a self-employed person for any unemployment or DOL benefits (even though I have to pay in). Just got to keep smiling and working on through it to stay alive and sane(relatively).

It seems as though were not all sheep. Thanks wolf, m’dog, J & others for your support. It makes me feel .. um, er… like I have some meaning? A lot of reaction to my words. Do you know what I noticed? I was called/ referred to by many derogitory (sp?) names, —> but no one called me a liar <—. As far as egotistical & arrogant, I am sometimes. I think those are some of the characteristics the help me be the ONE. I believe I would use confident & self assured as synonymus alternatives.
As I have already done, I apologize to those who are offended by such mannerisms. I probably will not change, so if you continue to be offended, you may want to seek professional help :)
Please don’t lose sight of the peril mr. Obama is imposing on us. I have worked VERY hard for my life accomplishments & I will not let them be forcefully taken from me by our government. Even if I am the ONLY one, I will NOT surrender.
