Hello All…. Diabetes is no joke, please take care if you have to change your diet or control with medication, My neighbor lost BOTH his feet to this disease. It’s terrible !!!!!! SusieQ, I miss you’re Sunny, Upbeat, Shininess every Norning :), i hope all is well with you, as well as everyone else…. I’m finally recovered from seeing the Dead 3 nights ago…. I guess I’m not as young physically as I feel mentally….. !!!!!! But it was nice to clear out the cobwebs of everyday life and get a new perspective on things, just in time for the dawn of a new season…….. Well everyone, enjoy this beautiful 65 degree day ( in the NY Metro area ) I Am……

“This is the day day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!” A beautiful 40* spring day here and they lifted all our water restrictions….YEA! I hope Mr. Mailman is good to me today cuz I haven’t gotten a freebie in awhile.

Don’t think I need this. I just make it up as I go along daily. Depends what I’m hungry for. A quick note to pass along to all my fellow crappers. I have been really CHEAP lately. I have found that a lot of bars in my area, Harrisburg, PA, offer free food Monday thru Friday from 4 to 6 pm. Your Place Restaurant M-F from 4 – 6pm usually has a mix of pizza, strombolis, wings, turkey wraps and ham wraps free if you buy one drink. So my girlfriend usually has a beer and I have a free refills soda. Comes to $4.34 for two people. Cheap night out. Another place is Dukes in Wormleysburg on Friday nights only they have a free buffet if you buy one drink. Soda is free refills also. Sundays Al’s pizza in Summerdale has a buffet with all kinds of pizzas, bolis, subs, salad bar, and buffet with everything from salsberry steak, chicken parm., stuffed shells, 2 -3 kinds of wings, meatballs spagetti, and all kinds of other food including desert pizzas, homemade soups and iced cream including tea or soda for under 8 bucks a piece. All you can eat and drink. For two people our bill is $15.90. Cheaper than buying the food and preparing it yourself. Hope this spurs others to share “eat cheap nights out”.

Great ideas and tips Daniel. Wished I lived in your area with all those goodies! We only have one bar in our town but they do have a chilli feed time to time and thier annual Rocky Mountain Oyster feed that is coming up.LOL Times are tough all over and is interesting to see how people are maintaining and or surviving. Our local grocerie store gave out 10 pound bags of free potatoes the other day! It all helps!! I saw on the news about a resteraunt that is offering “pay what you have, and if you have nothing….pay nothing”! I am not at that point yet but it broke my heart to see their compasion for others!!

  17. Sheyenne

And the freebies help too! They come in handy those last few hard days before payday!

  18. Sheyenne

Daniel….also, if you are around a casino, you can usually get a room during the week dirt cheap and usually comes with free buffet , drink tokens and money to gamble with!! Is a great, cheap night out if you don’t blow your paycheck at the machines!!LOL
