Used to swim in the Allegheny river all the time Sheyenne. Not bad and a lot of fun, until then ya fish in it and see all the stuff that had been swimming right under ya. LOL! NASTY!!!!!!!! LOL!
lol! Reminds me of a river crossing about 3 miles from here…..we used to ride our bikes out there and swim as kids…..till we noticed the baby leeches clinging to our body!! I saw that same little crossing a couple days ago…….from about 1.5 miles away!!! The water here is still unbeleivable!!!!This is farm country and sadly all of it you will see rise in the grocery store prices too.

Just within family we are wheat, barley, corn, sun-flower,navy and mostly beets!!! That would be sugar beets for sugar…..many have no clue! Barley in Beer, wheat in everything, corn grown here is not for eating…..it goes in fuel and oil etc. Everything will go up for sure!!
Gotta love the farmers, it’s a 24/7 day. Lots of hard work and no matter what the weather. There is always something to do. I helped out on a cattle farm a couple of summers ago. What an experience that is. LOL! You appreciate a gallon of milk a lot more. LOL! The farm right down the road from us, plants tons of crops and has cattle as well. And the owners are both in their 80’s and still farming everyday! She runs the machines also and walks with two canes to get around. God love em!

J, my guess is that because you and I are on the TFC Facebook and you only have that account it will not allow us to be friends outside of that TFC account. I , Sheyenne, Judy, and others have our own page or whatever it is called outside of belonging to the TFC one. So you will need to make one for yourself. Then we can also be friends and exchange information personally within our space with whom we choose. Hope this is making some sense. LOL! The kids will know what I mean.LOL!
