  6. SusieQ

Good Morning David, Belva, and All. I love to grow all types of flowers. I grew the giant version of sunflowers as well as the smaller. Gotta love the birds and bees. :-) A farmer down the road grows a field of sunflowers and it is just beautiful to see. Can’t wait to get planting again!!!!!!!

  7. Maddog

Mornin’, Y’all!! Planted the last of my flowers yesterday. Whomever wants mine can have ‘em. (Should I have said, “Whoever” instead of “Whomever”?? C’mon English geeks, teach me!)

  8. SusieQ

Ya’ll can have em! Maddog :-)

  9. SusieQ

Or my favorite is, “Yun’s can have em”, proper Pa. English. :-)

  10. Travis

Skipping this offer, my green thumb isn’t green any more.

  11. Travis

Everything I have planted lately has died before even coming mature.

  16. PATTY MARTINEZ

    OH HAPPY DAY

  17. Maddog

Thanks, SusieQ!! “Y’all” IS the proper way to say that!!! Since you’re in the AZ land, you’ve picked up on proper southern English quickly!!

  18. SusieQ

LOL! Maddog:-) Even better is watching the limes, lemons, and oranges forming on the tress outback. Something we don’t see much of back in Pa. There is a guy down the street from here that has a tree hanging over his wall and the oranges are falling into the street. LOL! Neighborhood kids are loving that. LOL! Finally starting to feel like Spring in Pa. so they tell me. Guess everyone’s getting those boxes of sunshine I sent out last week. :-) Such a beautiful place it is here in Az land for sure!!!!!

  19. Chip

SueQ, have you been to Bullhead City, AZ? Right across the Colorado River from Laughlin, NV. :=)

  20. SusieQ

Never been there Chip sorry to say. I take it you have? We drove from Spokane Wash to Tucson Az. Lovin it here for sure. :-) From what I have read Bullhead is getting pretty built up.

  21. SusieQ

Ghost towns, fishing, hunting, rockhounding, prospecting, gambling, but I am not much of a gambler. LOL! Sounds like my kind of place though!

  29. Chip

Hey SueQ! Yes, I used to travel down there to Bullhead City, AZ, about three to five times a year, to visit my Grandma Rosemary, before she moved in with us. She has since passed away, but lives on in our hearts. It was 427 miles from my doorstep to her doorstep. Gambling, hiking, jet skiing on the Colorado River, (drinking, of course), and just hanging out and spending time with Grandma AND Grandpa (he was alive then.) Yes, it is growing quite quickly there!

  30. Chip

    Have a great day, Crapperinos! : 0

  31. SusieQ

Fond and wonderful memories, Chip! That’s a good thing!!!!!! :-) Really sounds like a great place to visit! We are truly blessed with wonderful people in our lives some who have left their marks and some who are still making theirs!

  32. SusieQ

Hope all is well Grimm! Not like you to be this late with a new post! :-)

  33. Belva

  41. J

Well hit 94 in NJ Sunday – Cops & Rodders Show had about 500 vehicles register. Did ok considering the current economy – Speed Racer is still a hit – perhaps the tide is changing for the better. Next week is Cranford Street Fair & Car Show. Weather is looking good already. Have a great beginning to your week everyone!

  42. Burk
