That’s not a bad idea, Maddog. I think I will head for the small room in the back and try getting some sleep. Today is trash pick-up day for my neighborhood and I have been in my office most of the night sorting magazines and assorted other USPS delivered paper material and getting it ready for it’s ride to the landfill.
Thanks, SusieQ! Ummmm….have and flapjacks (aka pancakes, aka hotcakes) to go with that coffee? Was up at 5:30 am yesterday and didn’t get to bed until 12:30 this morning. Son had a baseball tournament that lasted all weekend long! He gave me a bit of a scare in the last game. Dove for a ball in bad lighting, missed it and it bounced and hit him in the bridge of his nose. He just layed there face down for about 15 seconds or eternity. Can’t remember which. I think it knocked him out because he didn’t remember much. Nice bloody nose, though. In warm-ups, kid on our team tore his fingernail off and has a crack in the tip of that finger. Who says baseball isn’t a contact sport?

lol well…just moved into my new place after a 8 year relationship and a nasty break up…dont even got a bed yet…so hows hot dogs by the pool? and if your real lucky i got some M&Ms for after… : )
Yep, flapjacks, hash browns, eggs the way ya like em, and toast and jam, Maddog! Glad to hear that your son is alright! I love to watch them play, but it is always a worry! It’s a hard call for a parent sometimes to allow them to play sports when we know the dangers. I had five that played contact sports and said a prayer each game! :-)

Fun-not as much $ as expected, but hey anything’s better than nothing. C’mon North Jersey, get out to Bogota Sat 6/6 for a fun filled day to support town football team & see some great old cars. Hey Maddog, that bloody, swollen nose is well worth it for all the great team building life lessons that little guy is learning. All my kids were involved in team, group activities & it has served them well.
