Stacy- Worked fine for me. But I did notice that it automatically came up auto filled with Australia as the country. Did you change that to United States? I’d try it again. :~)
The OBSERVER– Happy BELATED Birthday to you!
I too had to put my birthday on hold this year.
(Until everyone got their passports.)
Spent one week in Portland & 1 week in Canada
@ gorgoeous Lake Louise by Banff.)
It was worth the wait though! So I’m sure you’ll have
a ton of fun!! :~)
Stacey- upon further investigation…… you’re right!
This crap is DEAD!! So don’t bother.
I already contacted Grimm about putting another one up.
(Available only in Australia & New Zealand)
Have a good one! :~)
Hey, Y’all! We get inspirational quotes and messages from our RE/MAX broker every Monday. He tries to keep the agents spirits up with the economic downturn. Although we, in Texas, haven’t been hit nearly as hard, these Monday Morning Messages are encouraging. Thought I’d share part of this week’s message with y’all. It was quite amusing!
“The Land of Opportunity ”
Curtis and Leroy saw an ad in the Starkville Daily News
in Starkville , Mississippi and bought a mule for $100.
The farmer agreed to deliver the mule the next day.
The next morning the farmer drove up and said, “Sorry,
fellows, I have some bad news, the mule died last night.”
Curtis and Leroy replied, “Well, then just give us our
money back.” The farmer said, “Can’t do that. I went
and spent it already.” They said, “OK then, just bring
us the dead mule.” The farmer asked, “What in the world
ya’ll gonna do with a dead mule?” Curtis said, “We
gonna raffle him off.” The farmer said, “You can’t raffle
off a dead mule!” Leroy said, “We shore can! Heck,
we don’t have to tell nobody he’s dead!”
A couple of weeks later, the farmer ran into Curtis and
Leroy at the Piggly Wiggly and asked, “What’d you
fellers ever do with that dead mule?” They said, “We
raffled him off like we said we wuz gonna do.”
Leroy said, “Shuck, we sold 500 tickets fer two dollars
apiece and made a profit of $898.” The farmer said,
“My Lord, didn’t anyone complain?” Curtis said,
“Well, the feller who won got upset. So we gave
him his two dollars back.”
Curtis and Leroy now work for the government.
They are overseeing the Bailout Program.
LOL! Maddog! Guess there’s a little humor in everything! LOL! :-) I like the brokers sense of humor! We all need a pick me up now and again! Thanks for sharing! :-)
Maddog- I drove by my construction this week end. I think it’s coming along real well! It’s starting to get to the ‘I’m starting to get more excited’ stage now. I have another updated walk thru on Friday. Again, I want to thank you & Marcia for all of your invaluable help! I really appreciate it! Thanks again! :~)
Thats just an automated computer response to the info that you submitted. That doesn’t mean that you are going to get it, especially if it says that it is for Australia & New Zealand only. }~)
CHIP- Do ya get the ‘Columbus’ school day off?
Burk- Never been on a cruise before, bet your countin down the hours!
Coolcat- Did ya get to go fishin while you were there?
}~)
Hate that fine print, makes me run for the magnifying glass. Leave the 25th, Coolcat, Bahama bound, been there before, to Freeport, wasn’t impressed. Stopping at 2 ports this time, Freeport and Nassau. Will probably stay on the ship at Freeport, let everyone one else go, can have the ship to ourselves. Don’t really care where we go, like the cruisin’. Yes I am counting the hours.
No prob, Coolcat! Anytime! Yeah, you ARE at that “Are we there yet?” stage. It’s fun! This is the part where it can get nerve racking, though. You want it to be done and there really is so much to do. Details. My advice, especially in the last month, keep on top of the details and hold your builder to the fire, but know that sometimes things take a bit longer than expected and be patient…to a point. More than anything, you want it built the right way. A builder can give you a pretty good idea of when it should be done in the last 45 days or so.
Anyone have problems with their goods, we’ll send a Coolcat, Maddog, Wolf and Bomb to take care of “things”.
Thanks Maddog! Good thing I’m a pretty laid back person! I’m really in no hurry but I do know what you mean about it being done right. So far the builder has invited me over every few weeks to explain to me everything thats been going on. (Honestly– I always thought that rebarb had that “b” on the end! Who knew?) So they are telling me Dec 14th. I wish it was longer…into Jan. I don’t want to mess up my Xmas plans, ya know?
THE OBSERVER – Our school district (Fresno Unified) no longer celebrates the Columbus Day Holiday…our neighboring Clovis School District does. Yes, I worked today, Sir. When are we gonna celebrate your birthday? There’s plenty of room at my round table! (And there’s a tankard here with your name on it, Sir!) 8*0
Chip- You keep us all guessing just what century you’re in! :~)
Have you ever been to one of those ‘Medieval Times’ shows?
I know you would have a great time there & fit right in! Well thanks
for all of your creative comments & keepin it fun! Have a very
pleasant evening Sir Chip-a-lot! :~)
Good morning! This will be my 6th cruise, have never made the midnight buffet, can’t stay awake, maybe I’ll take a nap and try to make it this year. We’ll be out for Halloween, so lots of photos will be taken! Have a great day!
