We saw some Bison roaming up at the range and an Elk herd. My little bro and I hiked up the mountainside and came up a little above them and got some great photos, not to mention memories. It was a great weekend. Snowing now, feels like Christmas in October! ;-)
The elk are about 2 miles from my house…saw some big bulls in there. Whilst hiking up the mountain we saw lots of whitetail deer, in fact, I think I saw the biggest buck I’ve ever seen…guessing a 6 point. :-)
It’s great that you got to spend time with your little brother; doing things together. (And that no animal was injured in the making of those pictures.) ;~) Snowing already? Must have drifted in from Washington. Sorry about that!
Montana is a fantastic wild life state. My 1st impression was when my Dad drove the family to Yellowstone & then north to Butte. I remember thinking that the whole state must be at the top of the globe. It always appeared arched to me for some reason. We were always at the top of the arch no matter how far we drove. Do you know what I mean?

Sheeeesh! Just when I was gettin’ all this straightened out!
