Hey all! Still sluggish Jace, just going thru the motions. Did get all the vacation laundry done, sorted, ready to be packed away, ’til next time. Am missing the bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles/pancakes, back to my little bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, sigh!!

Jace, my first kiss (peck) was with Theresa D. who also was my first date (I moved quickly…then). The first real smooch was with Kim. She dumped me right after the prom!

Good to see the “Golden boyz are still :-)ing”! LOL! Hey, shows your still thinking anyway, RIGHT!!!!! :-)
Jace, went to my 20th reunion (several moons ago) and “she” was there…without hubby. I brought the Mrs. and it was interesting to see her face! Yeah, the golden boys are still thinking, but the thoughts now only last, ohhhh, 2 or 3 secs. :~) then we need 8 hours sleep and a bowl of Wheaties!
Hey there Jace & Maddog!! Thought I’d step in for a quick “HI” hope you both have a Great Day!!! Never went to my school reunions. I only went to the school I graduated from Jr & Sr. years due to Dad being in the service. Sounds like alot of fun to see how people have changed & what they’re doing.
M’Dog….Prom night 1976, the band I was in at the time had already played 3 other HS proms….girlfiends [sic] said “Stay away from the stage”. During a break, we caved to the requests and didn’t listen………empty table when we got back down……..Ooops
They say prom night is when most flowers are picked…couldn’t tell ya that night!
We raced thru the valley together,
and started to climb up the next hill.
It was the end of the Indian Summer.
The trees looked so alive with their
vibrant colors of red and orange.
I stumbled and fell. Before I knew it,
he had his hand out & was lifting me up.
He drew me closer to his chest.
My eyes grew wide with anticipation.
He wrapped his arm around the small of my back,
his watch getting tangled in my long hair.
He pressed me closer….until our lips met.
My mind was lost in elation…….
It seemed to last an eternity……
Then suddenly he pulled back
and looked me dead in the eyes & said
~~Went to three proms..8-) had a older BF so we “went back in black” and “in our own private idaho” then to “you shook me all night long” and aahhh finaly “rapture”….good ol’ days~~~
And a Good Bu-r-r-r-r-r–r-, morning to you, Burk! :-) I always enjoy your interesting facts of the day! TYVM!!!!!! I wonder if his, “mummy” knows about today? LOL! Sorry, I just had to say that! :-)
