I liked the Ronald Reagan & Nancy love story. To think he had done so many great things with his life, such as being a President…..and not to have remembered any of it. (Alzheimers) And Nancy stood by his side…. truely remarkable! :~)

  12. Coolcat

Eleanor & Franklin D. Roosevelt runs a close second. :~)

If all the US money has dead presidents faces on it, why is Ben Franklin on the $100 bill? He wasn’t a President. ?? :~)

My favorite Pres?? I’d say all of the dead ones (here comes the Secret Service to my house). They don’t tell any more lies, they’re not in charge anymore (not that they ever really were) and they’re finally worth something!!

Had an uncle that lived in D.C. and did guard duty for the presidents at their press conferences. He was a D.C. detective. He told me that ALL of the questions that are asked by the reporters MUST be given to the president’s staff several days before the press conference. At the conference, the reporters MUST ask the question they wrote down exactly as they wrote it down when called upon. If not, their news agency will not be invited again. So much for ad lib and honesty. Not the president’s answer off of his cuff, but the answer given to him by his press staff.

  22. Coolcat

Now I find that very interesting Maddog! So much for the days of “honest Abe” leaders, huh! :~)
