Me too, I especially like how we are making our air toxic by burning it like there’s no tomorrow. Woohoo lung cancer! and mercury poisoning! and global warming!
GO COAL!
erich is a dumbass. global warming is a joke. stupid people want to get off oil, get off coal, no new nukes, etc. Gonna ride a bike and burn cowshit? Dumbasses
You guys have friends here in ohio too I just finished working on a coke plant that turns coal into coke to be used in blast furnaces and other manufacturing.
I had lots of family that were coal miners and still have some that are still mining were rooting for you guys
Coal keeps the lights on!
For those of you who insist on being negative because you “think” it harms the environment and so on, you all need to look at the over all picture. Coal is used for hundreds of things I am sure you all are not aware of. I live in a mining community where I work in the coal industry as a purchasing agent, my husband is a miner, and both sides of our family mine! Mining supports our community.
All these people that don’t like coal need to do research and stop believing everything they see on TV. As a surface miner I know exactly how strict the EPA and DEP are on the coal industry. And as for the mountains being destroyed that’s bull they arent of any use to anyone the way they are, after we reclaim them people use them as farm land, put cattle on them, build jails, schools, airports, factories etc. God gave us these mountains to be able to provide for our families if not he wouldn’t have put the coal seams in them it woulda just been rocks..Leave us alone let us put our lives on the line everyday so you can have your electricity and sit behind your desk and make fun of us redneck hillbillies. Of you don’t believe that the coal industry has changed come to Kentucky and I’ll personal take you to several strip job sites that have been reclaimed and you will see at just how much it’s more useable and how pretty the mountains still are.the television always show the film on the old mining industry it’s a totally new concept but because of a few bad companies everyone wants to label us all…Lack of knowledge is stupidity.
